Möbius; for Madame Butterfly at La Fenice in Venice
At the start of 2012, I started a collaboration with Mariko Mori. One of the first projects was to create a stage set for Madame Butterfly Opera at La Fenice in Venice. The concept was to make a single mobile sculpture that could activate the stage in distinct ways from Act I to Act III. My role was to transform Mariko's idea into a form and 3D model that could be built by Factum Arte.
