Oomstudios was tasked with working out the fabrication and shop drawings of a series of sculptures for Armani. The seemingly simple plutonic shapes are stacked on one another and appear to float without any connection. However, there is a complex internal structure to achieve this affect. We designed a modular steel structure that made assembly of shapes quick and easy, while simultaneously being completely invisible to achieve the floating affect.
